Christine Fisher-Lathwell – Impeccable service

I would go upstairs with my mum and my sister for mum to find a new coat or a new dress and the service was impeccable. Absolutely impeccable.

There was Miss Keeling and Mrs Drawbridge in the Coat Department, and then there was June Langdon, Mrs Barrow in the Dresses Department which led through I think to the Bridal Department as far as I remember, so I can’t remember the names of any of the people that worked there but I think they often had Junior girls working there.
