Christine Fisher-Lathwell – Off to London
So, myself and as Mr Pitman began working there, he encouraged us to start making different things for the window, different props and he bought things like square columns all of different heights that would mean you could display shoes and hats and all sorts of things on these columns in front of the clothing.
So, there were all things that he brought into Packs when he was there.
I would love to get hold of him and say, “Would you like to come and talk again?”
He decided to leave Packs and about 2 months later I got a letter from him to my mum asking if I wanted to go up to London and work with him, which I did.
